I strive to accurately depict the products and services; however, errors or omissions may occasionally arise. In the event of an error, such as a pricing discrepancy, I reserve the right to decline fulfilling the order. Finished products, such as pencils and pens, are crafted by hand using a lathe and hand tools. As they are not mass-produced but rather handmade from natural materials like wood, variations in appearance should be expected, enhancing the uniqueness of each item.

Postage

Kindly consult the shipping policy for further information. Please note that during certain periods, such as severe weather, industrial action, and peak shopping seasons like Christmas, orders may experience delays beyond the estimated timeframe. These circumstances are beyond my and our delivery provider's control. In such cases, the terms of service provided by the delivery provider apply regarding late or lost items.

Right to cancel - Distance Selling Regulations

All customers are entitled to cancel their orders under the Distance Selling Regulations, which provide additional protection for online purchases.

You have the right to cancel the purchase of a product within a 'cooling off period' of seven working days, commencing the day after you receive the goods.

If you possess the goods, you are obliged to retain and handle them with reasonable care. Upon cancellation of the contract, you must return the goods to our contact address at your own expense, unless we dispatched the item incorrectly, or it is damaged or defective. We recommend using Recorded or Special delivery, as you are responsible for the goods until they are received by us in a resalable condition.

I retain the right to impose a charge, not exceeding my direct costs of recovering the goods, in the event that you fail to return the goods or return them at my expense. Upon notifying me of your intention to cancel the contract, any funds debited to me will be promptly refunded to you, within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of cancellation. Please note that certain goods, specified below, are exempt from the right to cancel a purchase:

Goods that are personalised or made to your specifications. The supply of goods which have been personalised specifically for you. Goods which have been used, including attempts to “turn” the product on a lathe.

Communications

All notices intended for me must be directed to the contact details available on this site. I reserve the right to notify you either via the email address or postal address provided during the purchase process. Notice shall be considered received and appropriately served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting any letter. When serving a notice, it shall suffice to demonstrate, for a letter, that it was correctly addressed, stamped, and posted, and for an email, that it was sent to the designated email address of the recipient.

Conclusion

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for purchasing goods from this site, as well as any dispute or claim arising from such a contract, will be subject to English law. Both parties agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also initiate proceedings there, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may likewise initiate proceedings in Scotland.
